DESCRIBE: Victoria's composiiton has the overall amorphic, organic shape of a blob. Its size and shape varies from each end. Within this overall shape, she has divided it into bands of different values. Each of these bands touch one another, and create the overall shape...................... INTERPRET: The values used in this piece create extreme contrast of lights and darks. The use of her bands create movement within the overall shape by all connecting with one another. This piece has a free-flowing feeling of motion created by her use of all organic shapes................... EVALUATE: I like her piece because it's free flowing and easy. She didn't complicate things, she kept it simple, and made her point clear on what she was trying to do. The overall composition connects well and comes across clearly: lights and darks can be together in the sam composition.
