Duchamp

The first time that i saw the piece it was small and in black and white on a piece of computer paper. i couldn't form a big opinion about it because i didn't know what it actually looks like. i wanted to know what medium it was in, and i wanted to see the colors. when we finally got the chance to see it, i was surprised. i wasn't expecting all of the concepts that were in the piece. There was a website that did a replica of what the whole entire piece meant. it broke down each part of it and explained what its use was. all of the objects in the piece seem to all have a job and all function together. our discussion on the piece isn't over, so i don't have a full opinion on it just yet. but for right now i am very interested in the piece and can't wait to learn more about it.
