The Walt Disney logo is known around the world. The elaborate "W" in Walt, and the classic "D" in Disney could be recognized by anyone. Another thing that goes hand in hand with the Walt Disney signature is the icon that comes immediately behind it. The castle, at the Disney world parks the highlight of your trip is at the end of the day when you get to see the firework show at the castle. The castle is the symbol that represents Disney. That is why i think that this is a great example for iconography. Other things could pop into your head when you think of Disney, It could be your favorite character, movie, or ride. But there are too many of those things to pinpoint as the ultimate symbol of Disney. The one that works the best is the castle. There are also many other logos of Disney, one of the other most famous ones would be the Mickey Mouse ears. But in most advertisements and at the beginning of every movie you will see the Walt Disney signature with the castle behind it.
